Fatos Marcantes da Automec

Birth

The first Automec was held from November 9 to 13, 1993, at the Anhembi exhibition pavilion. At the occasion, the event brought together 401 exhibitors, of whom 120 were foreigners and pulled up 53 thousand buyers from 48 countries.

1993

Restructuring of the Sector

The sector underwent a profound restructuring. Vehicle production in the country would reach 2.5 million by 2000. Given this scenario, the future of Automec has been traced. The second edition, with 50% more space, was a success, bringing together 650 exhibitors and more than 50 thousand visitors.

1995

The division

Automec attracted so many exhibitors and visitors that it took on gigantic proportions and was divided into two fairs: Automec Light vehicles and Automec Heavy vehicles, the first being held in odd-numbered years and the second one in even-numbered years.

2007

Expansion

Automec Leves gathered 968 exhibitors, of which 542 are national and 426 are international. The audience was 62,314 visitors with representatives from 30 countries like Argentina, France, Uruguay, China, Italy, Singapore and Taiwan.

2009

Model Office

The first Automec Model Autorepair shop has emerged, simulating a repair shop of the highest quality and efficiency.

2013

Success

Automec Light Vehicles reached 78 thousand m² of exposure and brought 1200 national and international brands and 68,380 visitors. It also introduced the Special Program of Buyers (Premium Club) and Business Meetings with more than R$ 6.8 million in business generated.

2015

Together Again

Automec has become once again a trade fair aiming at repairing and replacing parts for light, heavy and commercial vehicles. More modern, the event took place at São Paulo Expo and broke all records: 20 thousand m² of experiences, 90 thousand m² of exhibition space, 1500 national and international brands and more than 74 thousand visitors.

Great Perspectives

Automec 2019 has come to be the key to your businesses. The event has great perspectives in terms of public, exhibition and experience: with more than 6 months left for the event, 85% of the plant has already been marketed.
