The traditional fair of the automotive sector should bring together 1.400 exhibitors from 30 countries.
São Paulo, February 2009 - Taking place in the period of the 14th to 18th of April 2009, the ninth edition AUTOMEC (International Auto Parts, Equipment and Services Trade Fair) will happen at the Anhembi Exhibition Pavilion, in São Paulo. Organised and promoted by the Latin American business fair company, Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado, the fair will present the most recent innovations in the market of auto parts, equipment and services, with the expectation of bringing together more than 1.400 exhibitors, from 30 countries, and receive more than 90 thousand visitors from more than 60 countries.
Great industry names are already confirmed for the event. Outstanding among them are: BIRKSON, BOSCH, CONTINENTAL, CORTECO, GATES, GEDORE, HOFMANN, LUPORINI, NINO FARÓIS, PANAMBRA, SAINT-GOBAIN, MTE-THOMSON, UNIVERSAL, VETORE and WAHLER.
"AUTOMEC came about 15 years ago with the objective of facilitating the relations between the national production chain of the automotive sector with its buying public, as well as promoting the integration of all the activities of the industry, from the manufacture of a part up to services", says Evaristo Nascimento, Fair Director. "In this way, industrialists, buyers, traders, professionals and technicians from the automotive sector and services began to find in one place, all the opportunities to make deals in a short period of time amid a great diversity and quality of products", he adds.
With 15 thousand m2 of occupied area in the first edition, took place in 1993, AUTOMEC comes to this edition with 72 thousand m2 of the exhibition area, offering buyers the most diversified products as well as inaugurations for the world market.
The principal event of the sector in Latin America, AUTOMEC has the support of SINDIPEÇAS (Vehicle Components' Industry National Trade Federation) and the co-support of ABRIVE (Brazilian Associations of Independent Vehicle Repairers), ANDAP (National Association of Auto Parts Distributors), SICAP (Vehicle Parts and Accessories Wholesale Trade Federation of São Paulo), SINCOPEÇAS (Vehicle Parts and Accessories Retail Trade Federation of São Paulo) and SINDIREPA-SP (Vehicle Repair and Accessories Trade Federation of the State of São Paulo).
